RETURN OF FAULTY GOOD UNDER WARRANTY

We are committed to providing our customers with high quality products and service. Unless stated, all products we supply are brand new and comes with 12 months return to base manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty protects the original owner and is not transferable unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase. It covers all defects in materials and manufacturing, but does not cover normal wear and tear of the product, accidental or malicious damage, misuse or incorrect fitting to the vehicle. Damage caused by failure to follow the Lockrack Fitting instructions video or through lack of product knowledge is not covered.The warranty does not cover incidental or consequential losses or the cost of return for testing or the cost of removal and re installation. Proof of purchase must be provided when any warranty claim is requested.

No warranty is given for defects resulting from conditions beyond Lockracks control including, but not limited to, misuse, overloading, or from failure to assemble, mount or use the load carrier or accessory(s) in accordance with our fitting guidelines. Lockrack is not responsible for damage to a purchaser’s vehicle, cargo and /or to any other person or property.This warranty is expressly made in lieu of any and all other warranties, express or implied, including the warranties of merchant ability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Prior to taking any action we would ask you to contact us on mark@oceaneyewear.net Mon-Fri 09.30am to 5.00pm. We may be able to resolve the problem over email or give you advice on the appropriate action to take.

A. MISUSE OF PRODUCT

  1. The Lockrack product range are only to be used for the transport of watercraft to a maximum weight of 40 kg.
  2. No warranty is given for defects resulting from conditions beyond Lockrack`s control including, but not limited to, misuse, overloading, or from failure to assemble, mount or use the load carrier or accessory(s) in accordance with our fitting guidelines. Lockrack is not responsible for damage to a purchaser’s vehicle, cargo and /or to any other person or property.
  3. Periodic maintenance of the lock rack including regular cleaning is strictly adhered to (see ‘Maintenance’ below)
  4. It is very important to refer to the vehicle manufacturers operating manual for the maximum permissible load allowable on vehicle roof.
  5. N.B. Maximum 40KG load

B.MAINTENANCE

  1. Maintaining your Lockrack is straightforward and ensures trouble-free use for years to come :
  2. Keep the arms clean.
  3. Apply surf wax sparingly to the aluminum arm which inserts into the base to maintain easy operation noting to remove any sand particles that may be on the arm inserts to avoid abrasion

C.INSTALLATION

  1. Please follow the installation guide to HERE.
  2. D.DISCLAIMER

  1. Repair or replacement of a defective product or the issuance of a refund or credit (as determined by Lockrack) is a purchaser’s exclusive remedy under this warranty.
  2. Lockrack systems sole liability to any purchaser is limited to the remedy set forth above. In no event will Lockrack be liable for any lost profits, lost sales, or for any consequential, direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages or for any other damages of any kind or nature. Lockrack is not responsible for damage to a purchaser’s vehicle, cargo and /or to any other person or property.
  3. Load rating refers to the maximum permissible load allowable on Lockrack products.
  4. It is very important to refer to the vehicle manufacturers operating manual for the maximum permissible load allowable on vehicle roof.

E.REFUNDS POLICY

  1. Purchases made from our online store are not sold on a “Trial basis”. Customers are strongly advised to check the suitability and specification of products prior to purchasing. In the event we, at our discretion, may agree to accept the goods back the following conditions will apply:
  2. The goods are to be returned unopened and in perfect resalable condition.
  3. The goods are to be returned within 7 days of purchase.
  4. A recovery fee of £25 to £35  and 20% restocking fee of the invoiced amount may be applicable plus VAT (additional shipping fees apply for remote areas)

F.AVAILABILITY

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods. By making a payment we are not entering into a contract of sale.

G.PRICES & ERRORS AND OMISSIONS (E & OE)

Goods and services, together with vat, are invoiced at the price prevailing at time of order. We reserve the right to modify the prices from time to time.

We make every effort to ensure that all prices and descriptions quoted in its showroom and website are correct and accurate. However, in the event that a mistake may occur due to the rapidly changing nature of the market we will be entitled to rescind the contract, not withstanding that it has already accepted the customer’s order, and our liability in that event will be limited to the return of any money the customer has paid in respect of that order.

E & OE stands for errors and omissions excepted. It is used in an attempt to reduce legal liability for incorrect or incomplete information supplied in a contractually related document such as a price list, quotation or specification. It is often applied as a disclaimer and seeks to make a statement that information cannot be relied upon or may have changed by the time of use.
It is most commonly used in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and is less frequently used in other English speaking countries.
